"I am from"

I am
From a great wall, and a forbidden city
From dragons and the ancient ways
From red lanterns, and golden signs
And vigorous training
I am from a world where everything is a competition.
I am
From TV and Video Games,
From dances and parties
And the blaring radio.
An area of relaxation.
I am
From two languages.
From inventions of the old,
The ways of paper, print and ink.
I am
From the simplicity of life.
From ever-changing trends,
And the screen always glowing
I am
From Chopsticks,
From dumplings and moon cakes.
Where everyone is sharing.
I am
From forks and knives
From pizzas and bacon,
Hot dogs and hamburgers.
I am
From the Chinese celebrations,
The new year, the moon and the lantern festival,
From dancing dragons and lions
To bright floating lanterns.
I am
From the bright and colorful
The new year, Halloween and Thanksgiving,
From fireworks and lots of sound.
To giant parties.
From two different worlds
China and U.S.A
May we all be free
From a great wall, and a forbidden city
From dragons and the ancient ways
From red lanterns, and golden signs
And vigorous training
I am from a world where everything is a competition.
I am
From TV and Video Games,
From dances and parties
And the blaring radio.
An area of relaxation.
